Becca Champagne Splits {Prosecco Pop/Pample Mousse, Champagne Pop/Flowerchild}

Jaclyn Hill collabarated with Becca once again.  One of the products released were these Champagne Splits ($38).  I was very excited to see these and ordered two right away.  Flowerchild is my favorite blush and Champagne Pop is one of my favorite highlighters so it was an easy choice to get the Champagne Pop/Flowerchild.  And since I have not tried Proseco Pop my next choice was Proseco Pop/Pample Mousse.

I was very pleased to see that the pigment is the same in the slpits as in the orginial form.  They are creamy and vibrant.  I am really loving the Proseco Pop/Pample Mousse at the moment.  Proseco Pop is only a bit darker than Champagne Pop.  And I don't have a gold highlighter like it.

Overall I think these are some great blush/highlighter duos.  I think they are great for traveling and on the go.  Two producst in one is never a bad thing in my book.  There are two more shades I still would like to get my hands on.

September Favorites

I was a bit of a makeup minimalist in September.   Since I have been in training with my new job I stuck to the basics.

Becca/Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop - I can't get enough of this highlighter.  Every time I wear it all I can think is highlight on fleck.  If you are still living under a rock and haven't bought this you need to run to Sephora like yesterday.

Bite Beauty Deluxe Creme Lipstick in 002 - Bite Beauty has been releasing a limited edition shade of lipstick every month.  For the first few months of the year I had been diligent about buying them.  This is the shade from February.  It is a nice egg plant shade.  Perfect for this time of year.

Glossier Skin Tint - I recently bought this and have been testing it out.  I enjoy a nice lightweight foundation.  I have a more on depth review coming soon.

LA Girl Cosmetics Pro Concealer - This has quickly become my holy grail.  I have already bought a back up.  I love the coverage it gives and how great of an eyeshadow base it is.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock - If I had to get rid of all my eyeshadows and only keep one it would be Misty Rock.  It is such a beautiful mauve/purple shade.  I smudge this all over my lids and blend it out with a MAC 217.

My Friday Five #12

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask - I have been having some issues with my skin lately and have been breaking out but, this mask helps relax my skin and made me feel refreshed.  It was a nice treat for my poor face.

Grown Alchemist Watermelon & Vanilla Lip Balm - I recently picked this up from Net-a-Porter and love it.  It smells so so so good and really leaves my lips feeling nourished.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede - This is the perfect summer scent.  It is light and floral.  It also doesn't stick around forever and isn't too heavy of a scent.  I always get compliments when wearing this.

Becca/Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop - Well what can I say other then gorgeous.  This has been my highlight everyday this week!

YSL Glossy Stain in 9 Rouge Laque - I have been into a red lip lately and this is just my go to.  I like a gloss better then a lipstick but, I want something that lasts. So, I went looking for one at Sephora and found this gem!

Jaclyn Hill for Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed {Champagne Pop}

So !!! Becca just released this incredible Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop ($38) with Jaclyn Hill!!  And OMG it is so pretty.  I seriously have no other words then pretty.  Like all the other Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors it is buttery smooth and very pigmented.  For girls with pale skin this looks pretty but, I feel like if you have tan/meduim skin tones it will look so amazing on you.

I pulled out some of my other highlighters to compare.

So since this is a limited edition item I say run don't walk to your nearest Sephora!

July Favorites

July has come and gone... weep!  I can't believe the summer is almost over.  Enough of my complaining and onto my July Favorites.

I have been loving my new serum from Estee Lauder(1).  It helps minimize my pores and just leaves my face feeling silky smooth.  For moisturizer I have been using the Firming & Lifting Cream(2) from Algenist.  I actually got this as a 100pt perk from Sephora.  I have had this before and absolutely adored it.  It really moisturizes my face.  As for foundation I have been obsessed with my Estee Lauder Double Wear Light (3).  It gives amazing coverage but, it doesn't feel like I have much on my face.
As we all know I am not really into tanning but, since it is summer I have been using my Too Faced Bronzed & Poreless(4) to give myself and all over sun kissed look.  And for cheeks I have been loving the Becca Blush in Flowerchild(5).  It is a beautiful pinky, coral shade.  For eyes I have ben very minimal.  I have either reached for the NudeStix in Twilight(6) or the Burberry Eyeshadow in Rosewood(7).  They both are easy to work with and require no effort.  And then for mascara I have been using the Too Faced Better Than Sex(8).  And O-M-G is this stuff the bomb dot com.  It makes my lashes look so amazing!  I am actually ready to throw away all my other mascaras (of course not my Armani).  It is that amazing.
For lips I have been really enjoying my Rose Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment(9).  And for some color I have using the Tom Ford Lip Shine in Frolic(10).  It is the perfect light coral shade that is great for everyday wear.  And lastly the new Sally Hansen Gel(11) polish has been on my finger constantly.  I love the shade B Girl.

Becca Mineral Blush {FlowerChild}

A month or so ago I was watching youtube (I can't remember who) and I came across this gorgeous blush.  It is the Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild.  It is a beautiful finely milled blush in a pinky, coral shade.  I instantly fell in love with it.  It has a bit of a shimmer to it but, on the skin it gives you a nice glow.  It is one of those shades you can wear everyday and not get bored of it. Maybe that's just me.  But seriously this has been my go to blush for at least three weeks now.  I think it would look great on all skin colors too.  The Sephora website says "coming soon" but, I have seen it at all my local Sephora's.  I seriously think that this should be in every girls makeup stash.

Have you tried any of the Becca blushes ??  If so which ones ??

Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle {Lychee/Opal}

To be honest I haven't heard much about these.  I stumbled upon the Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflés during one of my recent trips to Sephora and thought they looked kinda cool.  They are a mix of Becca's Beach Tints and the Shimmering Skin Perfecters.  There are six shades in all.  I picked up Lychee/Opal.  It is a pretty bubblegum pink mixed with golden opal.  These have a very odd texture.  It sort of reminds me of the Maybelline Bouncy Blushes but, a lot more bouncy.  Becca claims they are a four in one; a powder to add a pop of color, a stain to give staying power, an illuminating highlighter, and a cream to deliver a flawless finish.  I would definitely say they are creamy and illuminating.  The Lychee/Opal shade gives a nice flush to the face.  It really compliments my fair skin.  To apply I use a synthetic angled brush.  I feel like synthetic brushes pick up a whole lot  more color then real bristles would.  I do need about 2 applications to get the pigmentation I like.  It lasts on the face all day, so it really does stain.  Overall I am enjoying this product.  It is a bit different then anything I am used to and I enjoy that!

What you tried these Soufflés yet ??
