My Friday Five #12

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask - I have been having some issues with my skin lately and have been breaking out but, this mask helps relax my skin and made me feel refreshed.  It was a nice treat for my poor face.

Grown Alchemist Watermelon & Vanilla Lip Balm - I recently picked this up from Net-a-Porter and love it.  It smells so so so good and really leaves my lips feeling nourished.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede - This is the perfect summer scent.  It is light and floral.  It also doesn't stick around forever and isn't too heavy of a scent.  I always get compliments when wearing this.

Becca/Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop - Well what can I say other then gorgeous.  This has been my highlight everyday this week!

YSL Glossy Stain in 9 Rouge Laque - I have been into a red lip lately and this is just my go to.  I like a gloss better then a lipstick but, I want something that lasts. So, I went looking for one at Sephora and found this gem!

My Friday Five #7

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette  - I am loving this palette so much right now.  The colors are so gorgeous.  My favorite at the moment is Incandescent Electra.

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask - This mask is the best for cleaning out all your pores.  When I'm feeling like I need a good face detox I pull this out.

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Lipstick in Sugar Kiss - Totally in love with this lipstick and the shade.  Guerlain introduced this new lipstick formula recently (review to come tomorrow).  It is creamy and very pigmented.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray - I use this almost everyday or at least every other day.  I use this in second day hair to give it some life.  I am almost done with this bottle and need a back up asap.

Diptyque Pomander - I got this cute baby candle as a gwp from Space NK.  It smells a bit cinnamon-y and a bit spicy.  It just smells like fall.

Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque

I have walked by the Aesop Boutique many times but, I have never popped my head in.  Mostly because I'm with my boyfriend and he never lets me shop.  But, it was recently my birthday so he made an exception.  I knew exactly what I wanted, the Parsley Seed Mask.  I have heard such rave reviews on this so, I knew it had to be mine.  I went home that evening and tried it out and may I say I loved it!  It is a fine clay mask that has a pinkish tint to it.  It applies very nicely to the face and you don't need more then a thin layer.  You let it sit for 15 minutes.  In that 15 minutes it dries up and shows you where your problem areas are (think glam glow mud mask).  After I washed off the mask my face felt thoroughly cleansed but, a bit tight.  So, I just made sure to use a thicker moisturizer afterwards.  Aesop says to use the mask twice a week and I think that would be the perfect amount.  I wouldn't want to do it to often and dry my face out.  I have seen a slight difference in my skin.  I have definitely had less acne in my chin area and my nose doesn't have as many black heads.  I very much enjoy this mask and have thrown it into my nighttime routine!  And may I say the customer service is great!  I shopped in the Greenwich Street store and my sales associate was very sweet and gave me some great samples to try out!  I would totally suggest this mask to anyone who is looking for something to give them a deep cleanse.
