Fall is officially here so you know what that means, dark nails!  I love every deep dark, vampy nail color.  So I went through my collection and chose seven shades I will be wearing all fall and winter.

My Favorite Autumn/Winter Lipsticks

 I love a good vampy lip during the fall and winter.  And these eight are my absolute favorites.

YSL Sheer Candy in 5 - a beautiful sheer red 

Laura Mercier Lip Glasce in Rose  - the best for daytime vamp

MUFE Rouge Artist Natural in N9 - the go to for a 90's lip 

Sephora Color Lip Last in Wanted Red - the best matte, lasts all day 

Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Palais Royal - these pencils are insanely gorge but this shade takes the cake

Marc Jacobs Lip Gel in Saboteur - these are very moisturizing 

Hourglass Extreme Sheen in Icon - best red hands down

Ellis Fass Creamy Lips in L102 - the vampiest shade I own, very intense

On My List

I keep an ever evolving list of beauty items I want.  Recently some new collections have come out and they have been put on the list.

Chanel Les 4 Ombres - Chanel released nine new quads ($61/ea.).  These are different then most US quads since they come in round pans.  I swatched Poesie #234 in Bloomingdale's the other day and fell in love.  Hopefully when I go back they still have it!  The Beauty Look Book has a great post about these!

Marc Jacobs The Dreamer Palette - This was recently released with his Fall Collection.  I have swatched his palettes tons of times but non stood out to me until this one.  I just love that it is warm toned!  Tarababyz just did a review and demo on it!

3.1 Phillip Lim for Nars - Phillip Lim has launched a nine shade limited edition nail polish collection with Nars.  All the shades are just gorgeous but, that red shade, Hell-Bent, is calling my name.  I will be making a stop at the Nars Boutique soon!

Nars Fall 2012 Night Caller Collection - The Fall Collection has launched online and the Eyeshadow duo in Dolomites and the Blush is Unlawful just look spectacular.  I love the formulation of Nars' eyeshadows and blushes.  They are very pigmented and creamy.

Marc Jacobs Kiss Pop Lip Color Sticks - These are another release for his Fall Collection.  I love a good chubby lip pencil and these look so sleek.  I think I will be picking up Wham and Pop Arazzi.

Marc Jacobs {Shout}

In the beginning of February Marc Jacobs came out with five new limited edition Matte Lip Gel lipsticks.  They have such cute names; Scandal, Shout, Gossip, Flirt, and Pout.  The shades range from a nice red to a pretty nude.  I of course went for Shout which is a beautiful coral shade.  These lipsticks are a bit different then Marc Jacob's other lipsticks.  These have a matte-ish finish.  I would not say it is a true matte but, it is definitely not as glossy of a finish as the original Lip Gels.  The Matte Lip Gels come in a very sleek package which has a matte black cap and a shiny white base.  The Lip Gels and Matte Lip Gels are the size, have the same amount of product (3.6g), and are the same price ($30).  The thing I love most about the Matte Lip Gel is the fact that it has Kokum Butter and Murumuru Butter.  These ingredients help your lips stay moisturized and restore elasticity.  I tend to get very dry, chapped lips this time of year so this really helps to have in a lipstick.

Chanel Tapage 605 & Charivari 603 Le Vernis {Spring 2014}

This Spring Chanel has come out with two gorgeous new nail colors, 605 Tapage and 603 Charivari.  And I jumped on the chance of owning them.  They are both creamy, opaque colors that need at max two coats.  I really love how creamy and bright Tapage is.  It has more of a white undertone than Charivari.  Charivari is a more muted purple with a grey undertone.  They both are very unique to my collection.

 Overall I would say both are very pretty, but I have a feeling Tapage might be my go to spring shade.  Charivari is nice, but more of a fall, wintery shade.  If you feel the need to get either I would go for Tapage.  It is opaque in one coat, but you can use two and it is just so attractive on the nails.  The both can be found at Macy's, Chanel, Nordstrom, Neimans, and Bloomingdale's.

Marc Jacobs Secret Love !

I recently picked up this Marc Jacobs nail polish in Secret Love and I'm obsessed!!  I seriously love this deep purple color.  I am actually wearing it on my nails right now with Chanel Taboo!

Nude Nails {Marc Jacobs & YSL}

I have a thing for nudes.  I am always trying to find the perfect one, so I can achieve the mannequin hand effect.  I still haven't found the one, but I did come close with these two.  These are both my first Marc Jacobs and YSL nail polishes and I have to say I'm very pleased.  I will definitely be picking more up of both.  They are both nice and creamy and not streaky.  Opaque in one coat, but definitely need two coats to look perfect.  The Marc Jacobs has a smaller brush unlike the YSL.  The YSL brush is larger like OPI, and covers more nail space.  Some don't like this, but I happen to not mind at all.


Now on to some exciting new!! Urban Decay will be releasing a new Naked palette just in time for Christmas.

This palette has more rosy hues and caters more towards people who like warm toned eyeshadows.  I personally think it looks great, but I will try to hold off getting this for a little.  I do have Naked 1 and 2, and hardly use them.  But, I can't help but go with the crowd, so who knows maybe I will have it by Christmas.

What are your thoughts on the Naked 3?  Is it a yay or nay?

Sunday Funday !

So this past Sunday my friends and I went to brunch at Pranna.  We had a nice time drinking and dancing, but I won't be day drinking again! I had a massive headache later on in the day.  Too many Bellini's for me.



Now remember yesterday how I said I was disappointed in the Marc Jacobs concealer.  I truly am!  For $39 it just didn't do the job for me. It was way to sheer and not enough of the product was able to come out of the spout.  It also didn't last all day and made my mascara transfer.  I loved how sleek it looked, but tomorrow it will be returned to Sephora. 

Have you tried the Marc Jacobs concealer?  What are your thoughts?
