Chanel 537 Quadrille Quad {Spring 2014}

Chanel quads have never been very consistent with there texture.  Some are very chalky and others are just so creamy.  I would have to say Quadrille comes in between.  I would not say that it is horrible but I also would not say it is the creamiest of textures either.  I have used it a few times and I do enjoy it.   I love the brown shade and the taupey shade in the upper left hand corner.   They look amazing on blue eyes.  So out of 5 stars I would have to give it 3.5.  If you don't feel like spending the money then I would say pass.  Bu if you are a Chanel freak like myself then I would say go for it!

Chanel 136 Melodieuse Rouge Allure {Spring 2014}

Out of all the Chanel lipstick formulas Rouge Allures are my absolute favorites.  I have a handful of them and love, love, love them all!  So of course when I saw this shade in the Spring 2014 collection I knew it had to be mine.  Now be aware that it is an almost exact dupe for Enjouee.  So if you have that shade you probably don't need Melodieuse too.

Now the reason I love Rouge Allures so much is becuase of their finish.  They have this gorgeous satin finish and are creamy but not too creamy.  They don't dry out my lips too much and they don't cling to my dry patches.  If you have never tried a Chanel lipstick before then I would say totally try a Rouge Allure.

Chanel 179 Murmure & 178 Sonate Glossimer {Spring 2014}

If you know me then you know how much I love lipgloss, especially coral lipgloss!  I was so excited when I saw the Chanel had released these glossimers, 178 Sonate and 179 Murmure, this spring.  Sonate is a darker more reddish coral that is a bit more pigmented on the lips.  And Murmure is a light pinkish coral.  It gives a nice sheen to the lips, but is not very pigmented.  They are both nice and creamy and free of glitter.  I love a nice matte gloss.  I am not one for glitter.  These glossimers are nor very sticky and last a good hour or so.  If you are a gloss girl I would definitely run and pick these up.  They are right aound $30, but I find them worth it!

Chanel Tapage 605 & Charivari 603 Le Vernis {Spring 2014}

This Spring Chanel has come out with two gorgeous new nail colors, 605 Tapage and 603 Charivari.  And I jumped on the chance of owning them.  They are both creamy, opaque colors that need at max two coats.  I really love how creamy and bright Tapage is.  It has more of a white undertone than Charivari.  Charivari is a more muted purple with a grey undertone.  They both are very unique to my collection.

 Overall I would say both are very pretty, but I have a feeling Tapage might be my go to spring shade.  Charivari is nice, but more of a fall, wintery shade.  If you feel the need to get either I would go for Tapage.  It is opaque in one coat, but you can use two and it is just so attractive on the nails.  The both can be found at Macy's, Chanel, Nordstrom, Neimans, and Bloomingdale's.

What shade would you pick up from the collection ??

Chanel Spring 2014 Collection {My Picks}

Chanel was one of the first to come out with it's Spring 2014 collection.  I was so excited and could not wait to get my hands on it.  I found mine at Macy's, but you can also find it on Chanel, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom.  I am a huge coral fan so I was so elated to see this collection.  I did not pick everything up, but only items I thought I would get the most use out of.

Tapage Le Vernis
Charivari Le Vernis
 Quadrille Quad
 Melodieuse Rouge Allure
Murmure Glossimer
Sonate Glossimer

I skipped out on all rest because to be honest it did not appeal to me.  I am not huge on cream blushes (even though Chanel has some of the best) and I also do not use purple or pink as an eyeshadow that often., so there's that

Swatches, comparisons, and reviews on all to come later in the week!

I cannot wait for all the new Spring Collections to come out !!  Check out The Beauty Look Book's post on Spring Previews!!  I cannot wait to get my hands on the Tom Ford collection !!

What spring collections do you want to get your hands on ??
