By Terry Cellularose Blush Glace {Frozen Petal}

by terry frozen petal

I was so excited when By Terry came out with these new Cellularose Blush Glaces (.25oz, $58).  I wanted the shade Frozen Petal for the longest but, it was always sold out.  One day I was browsing the Space NK website and it was in stock and calling my name!  This formula is a lot different then any other "cream" blush mainly because it's not a cream.  It is more like a gel blush.  It is very light weight and meant to give a watercolor effect for a nice glow.  It does just that.  Applied to the cheeks it is very sheer but, you can build it up.  I like to use a small stippling brush, like a MAC 130.  When I use my finger I feel like it takes longer to build up the color.  I do about two applications only because it is very tacky.  It doesn't really dry down.  I have tried three coats but, then it looked a bit odd and my hair kept getting stuck in it.  The color itself is gorgeous and I really like the way it looks on the cheeks.  I just wish it had a better drying power.  I think this is great for the no makeup, makeup look I've been going for lately.  This works best over a liquid foundation.  Over powder it looks funny and makes the foundation break down.  Overall I really enjoy the concept of the blush but, for the price I am still a bit iffy.  I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5.

Tom Ford Lip Color Sheers {Summer Fling, Paradiso, Incorrigible}

I have been wanting to show these to you guys for about two weeks now and I am so ecstatic to finally have this post up.  I am totally in love with Tom Ford's spring collection.  He came out with eight new, limited edition Lip Color Sheers.  These lip sheers have a mix of vitamin C and E, plus shea butter to keep your lips hydrated and moisturized.  And they definitely feel nice and moisturizing.  They give a nice feel to the lips and even though they are called "sheer" I would not call them that.  These lip colors have great pigmentation.  I love to wear them alone on the lips.  They give a nice glossy effect and last for a good two hours or so.  I would not say that they stain the lips but, they wear off nicely and leave the lips feeling great.  At $49 a pop they are on the expensive side but truly what Tom Ford product isn't.  I am truly enjoying these and think I will get a ton of use out if them.

The Lip Sheers come in chic, white and gold packaging.  And as you can see I picked up the more coral/pinky colors.  Totally in my safe zone since I bought these before seeing swatches.

Have bought any items from the Tom Ford spring collection ??

Coral Crush {LIPSTICK CHRONICLES}

A few posts back I shared with you my favorite nude lipsticks from the drugstore.  I decided that I want to make it into a monthly post.  So this month I am featuring my favorite high end coral lipsticks.  If you know me then you know that I love coral!  I love bright lips.  I am definitely not afraid of wearing color.

Dior Candide - Givenchy Croisiere Coral - MAC Viva Glam Nicki

Lime Crime Geraduim - Chanel Enjouee -   Tom Ford True Coral

Dior - Givenchy - MAC - Lime Crime - Chanel - Tom Ford

Dior - Givenchy - MAC

Lime Crime - Chanel - Tom Ford

Each and every one of these lipsticks are extra creamy  and very pigmented!  I love the lasting power the finish and stain they leave behind.  They are all different from each other and that's why I love each one of them.  They each give a different intensity.  When I am not feeling such a bold lip I go for Dior Candide.  It gives me the coral I am craving, but it doesn't attract attention from others.  When I am in a feisty mood I go more for Chanel Enjouee or Tom Ford True Coral.  They definitely attract attention.  But my go to lately has been Givenchy Croisiere Coral.  The packaging is just gorgeous and it gives me  more of a satin finish.  It is certainly less creamy then the others, which I have been loving.  But truly they are all amazing!

If you like bright lips like me what are your favorites?? And please let me know if this monthly post is something you would like to see!
