Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy

 

Armani recently came out with a new lipstick called Rouge Ecstasy.  I have never tried any of the Armani lipsticks before, but I was very intrigued by its claims of being the first CC-Lipstick.   The CC stands for Care & Color.  Care- offers comfort and softness of a lip balm, leaving the lips repaired.  Color - velvety soft, everyday lipstick that coats the lips in saturated, ultra luminous shades.  There are 36 shades in this line, but I only picked 2 out to begin with. 

I bought 102 Essenza & 501 Peony, two shades that I knew I would get good use out of.  They are both highly pigmented and last at least 2 hrs on the lips.  Even though the color might not last too long, I still feel the balminess of the lipstick.  I have to say my lips feel well hydrated after I wear these.  

The packaging is ultra sleek.  It has a magnetic closure, which I always find luxurious.  At first I wasn't a big fan of the red, but I got over it.  They are also very easy to apply.  No need for a lip brush, you can use them straight out of the tube.  With one application you can get a sheer look or you can build it up to a more pigmented, dramatic look. 

Over all I am a fan!  I definitely want to get a few more shades, maybe a few red shades.  So I give 2 thumbs up and suggest if you like an easy to wear lipstick

Oh Hey Fall ! {LIPSTICK CHRONICLES}

Fall is officially here!!!!! (imagine me singing that)  So, of course it's time to start wearing vampy lipsticks!  I love doing a neutral eye and a nice dark lip.  The boyfriend is not a big fan, but what does he know.. hahaha.  So, I went through my makeup arsenal and took out my top 10 vampy colors to show you all.

When wearing a dark lip make sure to use a lip liner.  I prefer one that is close to my natural lip color.  Using a lip liner will help prevent the lipstick from bleeding outside of the lips.  I also like to use dabbing or patting motions so I do not put to much color on at once.  And something else to keep in mind is to make sure you have freshly exfoliated lips, otherwise the lipstick won't lay correctly and cling to all the dry skin.

Random Tid Bits !

May I say I love this photo!  It's captures what I truly love to do, sing and dance like a fool.  If you know me then you know I truly don't care where I am or who is around me, if a song that I love comes on I sing and dance.  I have on a few occasions embarrassed the people I was with(mother & the bf).  I used to work at Old Navy and would sing and dance around the store.  My co-workers can attest to that.  I have had many a customer give me an odd look, but I mean when a good song comes on who can hold back? 

So everyone go have you're own dance party!  I will be hosting my own and listening to Roar & The Fox Song.  Um have you all heard that song?  So ridiculous yet catchy at the same time.

I have been loving this palette lately.  It has the perfect amount of cool tones & warm tones.  Sonia Kashuk makes amazing products for great prices.  If you don't own anything from her run to Target now! I would suggest any of her brushes and any of her eyeshadows.  I have not tried any of the other products, but I have heard they are great.

LOVE!!!!! If you haven't checked out Aubrey Kinch's blog you should!  She does some amazing blog designs & every Friday she puts out adorable downloads.  Currently I have Everyday I'm Hustin' as my computer home screen & lock screen on my phone.  I love it!!!
