Current Favorites {NOV. 2013}

I can't believe the year has come and almost gone already!!  It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating New Year's with the boyfriend.  Anywho, today I wanted to share some of my current favorites.  These are items I have been using on the daily and I LOVE!!!!

Diorskin BB Nude in Light - Love!!  I have been using this BB Cream for a while now and I just fall more in love with it with every use!  It matches me so well and has great coverage you can build up.

MUFE HD Primer - This is a recent favorite.  I have been very loyal to my Porefessional primer for so long, but in the winter I get so dry the Porefessional doesn't help me out one bit.  So, I was on the hunt for the perfect liquid primer and I found it.  It truly helps my foundation last all day long and I kind of really like the smell of it!

Urban Decay B6 Spray - I got this mini sample recently and have been using it almost everyday.  It helps my face stay moisturized and I feel like my skin has been looking pretty good.  This spray has vitamins in it that help nourish the skin.

Dior Creme de Rose Balm - AMAZBALLS!!! This stuff is the bombdiggity!  I use this everyday and my lips look great!  I also love the rose smell.  This really helps my dry, chapped lips stay moisturized.

Hourglass Ambient Powder in Diffused - I am kind of disappointed I missed out on the Limited Edition palette, but it's ok, I guess.  I have been using this powder to set my concealer and highlight the center of my face.  This powder gives me great glowy skin without the shimmer.

Covergirl Super Thick Lash Mascara - I tried this on recommendation from Kristin Gehm and fell in love.  This a great mascara!  It gives me volume and a little bit of length.  Great for work days when I don't feel like going all out with my Armani mascara

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 15 - Daria told m I needed this and she was right!  This stuff is great!  It is very similar to the Nars concealer just a little less creamy, but works the same. It helps counter act any dark circles I have since it has a salmon undertone.

Laura Mercier Lipgloss in Rose - To me this is the perfect lip!  It is kind of my lips but a whole lot better.  I have very pigmented lips so I love berryish shades.  And this is my favorite.  I keep it in my purse at all times.

Maybelline Lipgloss in Raspberry Ablaze - I did a post recently on my favorite fall lipglosses and this one has really stood at to me.  It has given me the perfect vampy look without making me look to pale!

Sigma Dupe !!

So I was recently browsing through eBay and came across these brushes.  They looked so much like the Sigma Sigmax brushes that I love so dearly.  So for about $20 I picked up these Sixplus brushes.
When I got them in the mail I was so excited to try them!!  But, you must wash them first, they smell a bit funky.  But, once you wash them the funk goes away and you are left with the most amazing brushes!  I would say they are exactly like the Sigma ones for a fraction of the cost.  They feel and work the same way.  I am hands down so surprised by these.  I didn't really have any expectations with them and I was blown away.  They are apart of my everyday routine.  I use them for foundation, cream blush and bronzer, and for highlighting.  They are so multi purposeful.  I would totally say to go pick them up!  I mean for about $20 you will get 10 amazing brushes.

What are you favorite brushes??  And what is your favorite eBay find??

We All Know I Love a Bordeaux Lip !

So a few blog posts back I showed you all my favorite fall/bordeaux lipsticks. Well I recently bought some new ones and wanted to share! This truly is my favorite time of year! Dark lips and pale skin are in, what more could I ask for!

I have heard so many great things about the Ellis Fass creamy lips that I knew I just had to try!  I was browsing around Sephora's website and saw they had a nice deep, dark bordeaux color (102) and knew it had to be mine.  The next day I stopped at the Sephora in Union Square and picked it up!  It is absolutely gorgeous.  I have worn it twice already and love it.  It goes on so smoothly and wears off nicely.  It doesnt become flaky like some others, and really just stains the lips.  I would totalky pick up another one!

In the same Sephora trip I also picked up this beauty.  I wanted this Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Palais Royal ever since Tayler from Well Taylored on youtube, wore it in a video. And of course it was sold out during the VIB sale.  I have also worn this twice and love it!  The formula of these satin pencils are great.  I have one other that I love and would totally get a few more in the future.

I'm a Lip Balm Addict !

I don't know about you, but I am a full fledged lip balm addict.  I need LA (lip balm anonymous).  And that picture above, that's not even all of them, only the ones I treasure most.  Well I guess you get the picture now.  So, lets just say I know what I am talking about when it comes to this subject!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments are great!  They come in so many different shades and "flavors".  The three I have are minis that I have acquired, but I have gone through two full sized rose ones in the past.  These can leave a nice tint on your lips and keeps them fully hydrated.

This was one of my most recent purchases due to youtube.  Everyone on youtube and the blogs I follow have been raving about it, so I knew I had to try.  And this Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm is amazing!!  Now I don't know about the plumping, but I do love the smoothing.  The smell of this is great!  If you like the fragrance of Chanel makeup then you will enjoy this.  I have only been using this for a week, but for the past week I have loved it.  It keeps your lips moisturized for at least a few hours.  I don't feel the need to reapply as much as others.

I mainly bought this Soap & Glory Great Kisser Lip Balm because of the smell!  It smells exactly like a juicy peach and I mean who doesn't want there lips to smell exactly like a juicy peach!!  This lip balm is nice and thick and leaves a nice finish on the lips.  I wouldn't say it is the best at moisturizing, but to me the smell is what I love this for.

Oh Jack Black, I would marry you if I could.  Now this is my ultimate holy grail, if I ever run out I'll just die, lip balm.  I have gone through countless tubes, in countless flavors.  This stuff is just the best ever.  I would say that the next time you are in Sephora you MUST pick one up.  They are only $7.50, which is pretty good considering the rest of these lip balms are pretty pricey.  This stuff just coats your lips and stays there and hydrates them.  Hands down the bestest ever!

Now I am not a big fan for using this on my lips.  It just has an awful taste and smell.  So my Dr. Lip  Original Nipple Balm for Lips is now being used to treat my horrible dry, cracked elbows.  And its been working out well!  It has a very thick consistency that just melts right into my cracks.  That sounds horrible, but if it work it works.

This Hourglass Lip Oil is also a recent acquisition of mine.  To be honest I have not used it a whole lot, but it seems to have potential.  It is very different then the rest of the lip balms since it's an oil.  It has a pretty good consistency and lasts on the lips for awhile.  For now I'm liking it, but when I use it more I will let you all know!!

What are your favorite lip balms??  Am I the only crazy one out there (don't respond to that)??
