Burberry Bloomsbury Girls Palette {Nude Blush}

Burberry Nude Blush palette

Burberry recently came out with a new collection called Bloomsbury Girl for Autumn/Winter '14.  It consisted of six polishes, two palettes, three lipsticks, and three glosses.  I picked up the palette called Nude blush and two polishes, Oxblood and Elderberry.  Today we discuss how gorgeous Nude Blush is.

Burberry Nude Blush palette

Nude Blush ($60) is a beautiful rosy toned quad.  I tend to gravitate towards rose gold and plumy colors like these.  I feel like they pair well with my light skin and blue eyes.  I own a few of Burberry's single shadows and I absolutely love them so, I decided to take the plunge and get a quad. I am so happy I did.  These shadows are very pigmented and so creamy.  They are easy to work with and just a little bit of kick up but, no fall out.  They perform just as well as the single shadows.  The colors also pair together very nicely and are not to similar to the singles I already own.

Right now the palette seems to be sold out on Burberry.com but Nordstrom and Saks have it in stock. And you can always check your local counter.

Have you tried Burberry eyeshadows yet ??  What do you think ??

My Friday Five #8

Another week has come and gone and I can't believe it is almost November.  Seriously this year has just flew by.  Now onto my favorites this week.

Coco Mademoiselle - I have loved this perfume for years but never took the plunge.  I finally did and so happy about it.  I have always wanted a signature scent and I think this is it.

Tom Ford Spanish Pink - When I first got this lipstick I found it hard to work with my skin tone and dry lips.  But, now I found a great liner (Too Faced) and this lipstick works so well.

Burberry Rosewood Shadow - I have been going for an easy eye look lately and this is it.  It looks great by itself.

Marc Jacobs bookmarc Pouch - I recently took a trip to Bleeker Street (has some of my fav shops) and wandered into Marc Jacobs' store bookmarc.  I found this adorable pouch for my business cards.

Chanel Camelia de Plumes Highlighter - I have fallen in love with this highlighter.  It is so gorgeous and just looks great on the skin.  I am so happy I went and got this!

What are your Friday Five ??

Chanel Fall 2014 Joues Contraste {Innocence}

chanel innocence

Also from the Chanel Fall 2014 collection I ordered the Joues Contraste in Innocence.  It is a beautiful mauvey, rosewood color.  And I was pretty surprised to see that I had nothing similar in my collection.  I was reading Temptalia's review on this the other day and I was actually surprised when she said her blush was a bit dry.  Mine is the opposite.  It is pretty creamy and silky.  It glides on my face easily and I need about an application and a half to get the pigmentation I like.  I really like the color on my pale skin.  Of course like all other blush it breaks down through out the day.  If anyone has a trick on how to keep the color all day please let me know !  Overall I really like the blush and how pigmented it is.
