Eco Tools Skin Perfecting Brush !

Eco Tools recently came out with this new Skin Perfecting brush and I was very intrigued by it.  It reminds me of the Wayne Goss one and since I have not gotten my hands on that one yet I thought hey why not try this one.  It retails for $7.99 and I found mine at Ulta and I have also seen them at Walgreens.  The Eco Tools website claims that this brush was designed to use with BB/CC creams.  I have tried this with my Dior BB Cream and my Covergirl TruBlend foundation and I love it with both.  It is a very soft brush and blends the product into my face with hardly any streaking.  However is does suck up a lot of product but then again so does my Sigma F80.  I do reach for this Eco Tools brush more then my F80.  I like how small it is.  I gets under my eye area really well and my nose.   For $7.99 this is a great brush to have in your arsenal.

Have you tried this Eco Tools brush ?? What is your favorite foundation brush ??

New at the Drugstore: Revlon !

Revlon has recently released some new goodies.  And of course I had to have them.  I was most excited about the skin lights!  And I was not disappointed.

Their new Parfumerie nail polish comes in a range of colors.  I particularly liked this Wintermint color.  It reminds me a bit of a Deborah Lippmann color too.  It goes on great.  Opaque in two coats, but I did aadd a third and smells like peppermint.  The smell wears off in a few hours, but I still love it anyway!

I have always loved Revlon foundations.  I probably have tried all of them and have never really been disappointed.  So, of course, I had to try this and I love it!  It really works well with my dry skin.  It is a meduim coverage foundation that is buildable.  It is nice and dewy on the skin.  I love to mix this with the new skinlights.  It leaves me with a nice overall glow.

I have not really dabled with the CC Cream yet.  I used it once and liked the coverage, but it was a bit too dark for me even though it isthe lightest shade.   I think this would be great for the summer time.

Love!! These skinlights are great!  At the moment I only have this shade, but I will be picking up the more pinky one.  I have been mixing this with my foundation and its amazballs.  It gives the skin a nice glow.  And we all know my dry skin could use a pick me up.

Lets just say I am not a fan for this concealer to be used under the eyes.  This is definitely a face concealer.  The consistency is very thick.  I am also on a fan of the applicator.  The concealer gets stuck and dries up. This is a thumbs down for me.

Revlon also came out with these new Lacquer Balms.  They are similar to the other balm stains they came out with last year, except these have a more shiny, glossy texture to them.  They also don't seem to dry my lips out like the other ones did.

Have you tried any of the new Revlon products?  What are your favorites?

To BB or Not to BB!

I have tried many a BB Cream.  I have tried everything from Dior to Maybelline.  I just can't help myself.  Something about seeing the word BB Cream makes me want to buy a product.  Recently Ponds came out with a Luminous Finish BB Cream and I had to jump on it.  I found mine in Duane Reade for $12.99.  That is actually a reasonable price since it is 1.5 oz.  Usually drugstore BB creams are 1oz.

Me wearing the BB Cream - Nice meduim coverage

Adorable packaging

Comes with a spout, which is a plus

It matches my skin very well - with flash

without flash

It only comes in two shades, light & medium.  Which is kind of a bummer for people with darker skin tones.  I have to say I really love this BB cream.  I like it the best out of all the drugstore ones.  It gives a great coverage and smells great.  I do set mine with a finishing powder only because it gets humid here in NYC & I melt most days.  Now I have dry skin so I would to know how it wears on people with oily skin.

All and all I give this two thumbs up.
What are you favorite BB Creams?  I think I am going to do an updated BB Cream video on youtube channel.  Please tell me what you think.
